A double-walled safety pipeline for the transport of liquid sulphur at the BP refinery in Lingen. The ring space contains hot steam to keep the sulphur in the inner pipe warm and liquid. Cross pieces were installed instead of bends, with flange and blind flange at the unused ends to enable the pipe to be cleaned. The construction units are connected by flanges, with an additional steam connection installed to join the ring space. Finally, all construction units were provided with a coat of paint.
